Recent Development of Ring Frame

1. Auto motion Many manual jobs have been made automatic in ring frame. Some are as below:-

a) Auto doffing: There are two types of auto doffing. These are-
i. Full length doffing automatically (Generally use)
ii. Section wise doffing automatically

b) Auto Piecing: There is also piecing arrangement in every head. Here only 60-70% piecing is done automatically. 100% piecing can not be done automatically because auto-piecing can’t be bone in case of roller lapping. It can be done when breaks yarn and get sucked by pneumatic waste collector.

c) Data collection system: By ring data system, all the information about each spindle (like production, TPI, Count, end breakage, efficiency, etc.) can be controlled automatically.

d) Spin-Winding system: Spinning & winding are done simultaneously. Ring bobbins are automatically transferred to the winding section through conveyor belt.

2. Higher number of spindle: Ring frame up to 1632 spindles & reduced space requirement with spindle gauge 70 mm.

3. Lubricated balloon control ring: It reduces friction and helps in smooth running.

4. Direct yarn doubling: Two ply yarns can directly spun which was produced by doubling machine earlier.

5. Higher spindle speed: Up to 20,000 r.p.m.

6. Energy saving 4-spindle tape drive.

7. Improved quality of spindle, r.p.m., traveler, etc.

8. Improved drafting system with draft range up to 80.

9. Inverter control system ( by motor ) for spindle.

10. Independent spindle, ring rail & drafting system drive.

11. Yarn up to 250 Ne: Modern spinning machines are equipped with x-fine motion. This option permits high drafts and therefore final spinning of very fine yarns up to Ne 250.

12.Travelling cleaner with energy saving program.

13. Simple efficient functions in the control panel : Machine functions, spindle drive, flexi draft, roboload and traveling cleaners are centrally controlled. This enables all functions to be operated via centralized operating and a display unit.
