By the grace of Almighty "ALLAH", textilefundamentals has launched to help the students of Textile Engineering and the people who are engaged and interested to know about this immense trade. This blog seeks to provide information on the structure, processing and properties of textile. It also discuss about the basic part of textile.
In this blog a multilevel dropdown menu is added to help the readers/visitors to find out their necessary topics easily. Every reader can search their topics very easily by typing their keyword into the search box. A facebook page also created to give update post via facebook. Just hover over the facebook logo and click on "FOLLOW ME" and like the page. Readers also share any topics on facebook.
Fiber is the unit of textile. It is the key things of making a textile product. Without fiber textile can't be imagine. So it is necessary to know about fiber. For that causes, textilefundamentals is trying to describe many popular fibers, their structure, properties use etc. Different types of MMF's (Man-Made-Fiber) are shortly discussed here.
Yarn is a strand of natural or man-made fibers or filaments that have been twisted or grouped together for use in weaving, knitting, or other methods of constructing textile fabrics. In this blog different types of yarn, its property and production system are described here very easily. Every section of yarn production such as Opening, carding & combing, drawing, roving frame, ring frame, rotor and more are described here nicely.
Fabric is the manufactured assembly of fibers and/or yarns that has substantial surface area in relation to its thickness and sufficient cohesion to give the assembly useful mechanical strength. Fabrics are most commonly woven or knitted but felting, lace-making, net-making, nonwoven process and tufting. So it is very important to know about all the section of fabric. In this blog it is trying to describe many parts of fabric science.
Wet-processing is process that has been performed for many thousands of years. In textile manufacturing, it is a collective term for processes included in preparation, dyeing, printing and finishing in which the textile material is treated with a liquid, normally water, or with chemicals in solution or dispersion in a liquid. It is the most important part for making textile product. Understanding the dyes and dyeing processes, it is discussed in this blog very easily.
To reduce process loss, forecasting, sourcing and processing calculation is necessary. Without calculating perfectly it is not possible to run any production. In this blog many calculation formulas are added.
As a writer and admin of TextileFundamentals, I acknowledge obligation to many sources recorded and unrecorded from which I get help. Because no technical publication is entirely fundamental. Language or sentence structure may be varied writer to writer. But main theme is same. Technical knowledge is a result of research. Best wishes to my loving Readers and Visitors. Keep with "TextileFundamentals"; "widen our textile knowledge".
